Evan values family above all else, and anyone who gets between him, his wife, and newborn son learns that the hard way. But when it comes to violent tendencies, it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

My quick rating - 5,9/10. Not used to seeing Seam William Scott in a role such as this. Tackling horror, and doing so quite well. Suffice it to say giving blank stares during dialogue isn't a stretch, but the anger parts came across pretty well. Fairly violent take on the taking care of ones family idea. Scott plays a deranged father who had his issues growing up and has no intentions of letting it happen to his kids, or any other kids for that matter. I think you can put this movie together from there. The matter of fact way this goes, and the fact it does not try to be pretentious about the serious subject matter helps rise this above mediocre.
