The aristocratic, wealthy France-born Boudine family move to New Orleans in the mid-1800s to make their way in America. Then their beautiful youngest daughter cross paths with the fiancé of the legendary Queen of Louisiana Voodoo, Marie Laveau. They have a baby and try to keep it a secret, but Madame Laveau finds out and decides that the entire family deserves the focus of Laveau's most destructive curse.

My quick rating - 5,1/10. The plot doesn't explain how bizarre the actual plot was. Also how underused this plot was. Too bad since it had a nic epremise going that kind of just got left by the wayside. Moseley plays such an ass of a cop in this movie, it is darkly funny. And perfect for him. The girls of the flick that get drawn into this whole family mess are complete fools, except for the lone good girl. All are played well, or are just their natural self, one of the two. The blood is there, the wicked sister is done well, just as a whole this all just does not come together. Up and down in how it grabs attention and loses it as quickly. Not a good sign for a short flick. If a Moseley fan, or horror in general, it is average so no complaints nor props either way. I am keeping it for one reason but wouldn't expect most to agree on that one.
