My quick rating - 4,1/10.I would say spoiler, but it is the very start of the movie, when people are ship wrecked on an island, it helps the plot if you explain how, or at least some clue to work off of. It was rather annoying to just start on the beach and no idea why. This could be used to forward the plot of figuring it out, but I am telling you this, that was NOT the case. At all. Almost like they thought leaving this part unknown was some really hip and cool new idea that would make a lame plot seem that much cooler. Well, that aside, this movie even if it was explained was just not good. Way too many holes in it to be taken seriously, and the movie did try to be serious. The scares are weak, the monster looks silly, although with the budget, the cgi isn't horrendous. I am being really nice with the rating because with all the flaws, and holes, it did keep me paying attention, maybe because I thought they would be filled in.
