My quick rating - 5,6/10. Ok, I'll preface this with the fact that I am a Vin Diesel fan. Have been since "Pitch Black" but not going to let that bias this. I expected much more. The comic was very good, he is a good action star. How could you go wrong? First, have a decent idea for the story, and play it out as secondary and not fully develop it. That is a start. Then as you are not focusing on the story and solely creating scenes to carry you to the next big action sequence, then not deliver something awe-inspiring. Everything in this movie just felt so rushed and slapped together. Even for a popcorn flick in March, it lost a lot by not going that little bit into the story more. And I will say, the finale looked great but it tried so hard to be a comic book and even with cgi these days, it looked silly. So I am biased but also very critical and I really had high hopes for this one. If you are like me, you'll be fine with watching this one but in the end, it'll be towards the bottom of your Vin list.
