Notes

My quick rating - 6.5/10. Surprisingly good flick. I will say Johnny Rambo has gotten rather violent in his old age. When you watch this, you'll know what I mean. This movie doesn't spare the gore. That said, the story itself was typical, and played out quite well Stallone captures the disconnect of Rambo from reality, but not in some insane way. He just detaches himself from it which I suppose when you have killed that many people and all the crap he has been through, you most likely would be all messed up in the head. Anyway, as I said, the story is Rambos niece heads off to Mexico to find her birth father, and ends up being abducted by sex traffickers. Enter Rambo to save the day although that part of the story is where the obvious ends, past that it kinda goes off script in what you would expect. Am I biased, maybe a bit but not far off. This movie is better than I expected, that is for sure.
