One memorable night in the life of veteran patrol officer Ray Mandel and his trainee, ambitious rookie cop Nick Holland in the LAPD's Olympic Division. My quick rating 6,5/10. This movie is actually quite a bit better than my rating. So why bring it down? Well, the acting, story, editing etc. were all there and done right. My issues are two: I felt like I was watching a quality TV show mashed into a two hour movie. Second is that though it was a pretty realistic portrayal (i would think, never been a police officer), for a movie there unfortunately wasn't much of a story. Pretty nitpicky I know. But if anyone stopped and said, "I'd give it at least a 7", I wouldn't argue at all. If you like realistic cop shows, this one is one of the best I have seen in a while.
