The story of Stan, an orphaned teenager stuck living with his abusive grandfather and tasked with routinely protecting his best friend from high school bullies. When Stan discovers a murderous creature has taken refuge inside the tool shed in his backyard, he tries to secretly battle the demon alone until his bullied friend discovers the creature and has a far more sinister plan in mind.

My quick rating - 4,2/10. One of those movies that rolls along just fine showing some promise, and then the wheels fall off. The story itself was interesting. A dude gets bitten by a vampire and hides out in some families shed on their farm. These vampires cannot be in the sun (not any of those daywalkers from the extended vampire universe) so basically anything that walks in the shed becomes dinner. As the geeky kid goes about his time at school, falling in love, and balancing this monster in his backyard all of a sudden the good ideas, and mystery of where this goes ends up taking the worst possible turn. Too bad since it was going well for well over half of it. Acting was passible, meaning nothing to complain about. Pops up on cable? Sure, go ahead but you have been warned, the last act really disappoints.
