My quick rating - 6,5/10. Even though there is a lot of area around you, there is something about being underwater that would make you feel very claustrophobic, I think. This movie i all about that when a crew of a deep diving rig is trapped miles below the surface in gigantic rigs yet when stuck outside in the water, seems like there is no where to go. And this movie looks great in showing that. The culprit of being trapped is their own accord, drilling far below where man wasn't supposed to be messing around and waking up a whole new, I don't know, SOMETHIN'. Once the initial creature emerges, the action is quite non-stop and the actors do well in their own ways. Busey and Stewart both are quite good in the fear and reluctant hero roles. Aside from nitpicking, I enjoyed this movie quite a bit more than I rate it, only because those flaws are there, but I am focusing on the positive. Sometimes I wish I could've seen just a bit more of what was going on in the water but I suppose that is what your imagination is for.
