My quick rating - 2.2/10. That might be generous. This movie is just plain bad. For a indie budget film it has the expected acting, but that has nothing to do with the problems. The story holds some form of promise, that people are kidnapped and kept to be served as dinner to the locals in a small town. Or it seems. Aside form the lack of explanation to the particulars, there is the times where all of a sudden people are just in other places, or strangely the scenes make no sense. Adding drawn out scenes where it takes a person minutes to walk inches also doesn't help. My head is starting to hurt thinking back, there are some religious overtones thrown in (why? no idea) and maybe some form of message about the treatment of animals? All I know is one scene defines this movie, and no it is not gore, and yes this is a spoiler, not that there is a plot, but one scene has an infant smashed onto the ground like a doll. Yeah, they went there. Nothing is shown, just the suggestion and view of the "supposed" kid smashed down with the crying sound silenced. That surprised me for the balls of it to do, but that doesn't make this trash any good. Pass up at almost all costs (only reason you would still have is morbid curiosity)
