Come for Tunisia’s first horror film, following three students’ filmed investigation of weird rumors in a remote village, and stay for the sickening madness, macabre witchcraft, ghastly beheadings, and gory cannibalism.

My quick rating - 6,8/10. Well, for a first horror movie, they set the bar pretty high. The stumbling onto a bunch of weirdos story is nothing new. But this story is far different than a "Wrong Turn" type thing. This story goes much further into the history of a strange village of cannibals that are worshipping a witch as their savior. If that part doesn't sum it up enough, there is far more to the story than just that as three students investigate a weird rumor of a locked up crazy woman in an asylum that may just be linked with the town where she was found, mutilated. In doing my best to not give anything away, suffice it to say, this is a quality horror flick. The acting seems fairly good but I have to take the language translation since some of the dialogue does often seem out of place (which happens often in subtitled movies). But I'll go with their expression and annunciation. As I said, the standard is set and I look forward to seeing what they have in store for us next.
