A godforsaken rural area, somewhere in Ohio. Since the death of their father, the Riley siblings have kept their heads above water by illegally dealing in painkillers. Josie is managing the business with an iron fist, when her brother, War veteran Kip, is concerned that the risky business is increasingly turning them into outsiders in their small community. While Kip wants to keep his younger brother out of their illegal endeavours, his younger brother is already making plans of his own. Set in the white-trash milieu of the States, the atmospheric debut of Genevan director Anthony Jerjen tells the story of the struggle for survival of a family trying to escape their own spiral of violence.

My quick rating - 5.3/10. Fairly good representation of being born into a family that makes its living being drug dealers. This being done in the not so glamorous small town environment so this isn't like watching the falshy Hollywood view of the drug dealing life. Not that there is anything wrong with Goodfellas at all, just this portrayal is much more of what the backwoods opiate dealers lives most likely looks like. I will give kudos on the acting done in this one. The story seemed to have a bit mroe to tell so might even be an ongoing story of sorts. Hopefully not since even if the possibility was there, not every movie needs a sequel. Only reason I am deleting this one is even though it was good, it was far more dramatic and surely doesn't hold any rewatch value. Still a quality flick if you run across it and worth a look if you are into crime/dramas.
