Nick Pearson is a life-long bachelor who is finally settling down. On the brink of his wedding he is surprised to find he has a 13 year old son who has come to find his him through the help of a psychic. The problem is Nick can't stand kids and would happily send the boy back to live with his biological mother, except that no one has any clue who that might be. Having nowhere to turn Nick must hit the road with the boy and the neurotic, inept psychic to track down dozens of his disgraced ex-flings to whom he must ask the awkward question - with very mixed results.

My quick rating - 5,4/10. Oh, I really thought this day was going to happen to me for years. Luckily it did not. So this guy (Tom Everett Scott) is a famous author of a book. I am sure you can guess the title. Anyway, at his wedding rehearsal dinner, a kid shows up claiming to be his son. But, not only with a claim, and a really poorly done psychic for comedic relief but DNA proof. So the mission is simple, Scott gives him two days to help him find his mother. But of course, back 13 years ago, he was a bit of a player. So the story is set, and everything you assume is what happens. Pretty cute movie with some nice humor sprinkled in.
