My quick rating - 5,5/10. I stand corrected. I am not saying this movie was great but it was by far better than expected. The story has been done before, a brother doesn't want his younger sibling following in his footsteps into gang life. This time it is just a slightly older brother, being a 14 year old shielding his 10 year old brother the life of corner drug deliveries, etc. Also, JCVD is not the focal point of the flick, he can't even talk. After returning from a tour in Afghanistan, he is left an addict and mute. He gets his drugs from the kid, and when he decides to try and get out of the business, JCVD happens across the two brothers and helps them. The story itself is pretty well done, even if it is cliche, and the other characters do a decent job in having their own identities. Better than your average version of this story, and if you are expecting the ass kicking Van Damme to appear, you have the wrong film.
