Master thief Will Montgomery is just released from the State penitentiary after serving a 10 year sentence, is contacted by Vincent, his ex comrade in crime, who is holding Will’s teenage daughter ransom in a hijacked taxi cab. Vincent will only surrender her when Will reveals the whereabouts of the 20 million dollars he contrived to conceal from their last robbery.

Notes

My quick rating - 5,3/10. Better than some of the trash poor mis-spending Nic has turned out but still not all that original. Another "what would you do for your kid" type movie, where this time Cage is an ex con who is trying to repair his relationship with his daughter but the people he did time protecting now expect their money after his release. Striaghtforward from that point on so by that description, it is up to you.
