Richard Taliaferro (1705-1779) was born in Virginia to Francis and Elizabeth Taliaferro. He married Elizabeth Eggleston ca. 1736 and they had two children. Richard has long been a figure of architectural interest from the colonial period of Williamsburg, Virginia.
