World War II - Europe seeks to acquaint your students with the causes and results of European front of World War II. They will learn why the war began, how Adolph Hitler gained complete control of Germany, how the war affected the United States and Europeand more through fictional journal entries, newspaper articles, letters, and editorials. The activities and questions following each article encourage students to think critically about the past, why people made the choices they made, andponder why people made the choices they made, and what they may have done if faced with a similar situation.
