When Kenia's (Joaquin Phoenix) oldest brother is killed by a bear, he vows revenge. Kenia finds the bear that killed his brother and kills it. He is magically turned into a bear. He then becomes the hunted when his middle brother, Denahi (Jason Raize), thinks that he is the bear that killed him. Now Kenia partners up with cute bear cub, Koda (Jeremy Suarez), to find the place where the northern lights happen so that he can be turned back into a human. Along the way, he learns the true meaning of brotherhood.
