What's a girl to do? Ten years ago Debi Newberry (Minnie Diver) on the night of the high school prom, discovers boyfriend Martin Q. Blank, (John Cusack) does not pick her up and is never to be heard from again. She is ready to kill him, right? She may get her chance when Martin, now a top notch, ex-government "hit" man, in need of "healing" returns to Grosse Point, to attend the tenth year reunion. Debi and about a half dozen other professional hit men want revenge on poor Martin, or to remove the competition, or stop him from completing his own "hit". Bodies, bombs, bullets, love and laughs are in constant motion in this George Armitage "hit" movie.
