Charlie Price (Joel Edgerton) has a problem. His fiancée is thrilled at the prospect of leaving Northampton and starting their life together. With epic bad timing, Charlie gets a phone call that his father has died. He finds out that he has inherited his father’s shoe manufacturing plant, located in the very city that his lovely girl despises. Loaded with a shoulder-full of responsibility, Charlie decides to do what he can to save the failing factory. Luckily for him, a drag-queen named Lola (Chiwetel Ejiofor) inspires him to take the factory down a new track—producing plus-sized boots for the transvestite crowd! But what will the other factory workers think?
