Taken out of the comic books and made flesh, Tank Girl (Lori Petty) lives in a future world that has run short of water. All remaining water is controlled by Water and Power a large corporation that runs Tank Girl's world. When her boyfriend and her friends are killed for tampering with water Tank Girl teams up with some mutant kangaroo humans (Iggy Pop, Ice T), Jet Girl (Naomi Watts), and Sub Girl (Ann Cusack) and rescues the little girl adopted by her friends. They all work together to wreak some revenge on Water and Powers boss (Malcolm McDowell).
