The Vicar of Dibley
The village of Dibley acquires a new vicar, but the Reverend Geraldine is a bit of a surprise, and a not entirely welcome one to some people.
A BBC TV program decides to film a segment in Dibley, leading to all sorts of romantic misunderstandings, well, auditions for the church choir.
Geraldine takes over the Autumn Fair and promises a celebrity, say Elton John, to open it but finds it a bit difficult to deliver.
One of the church's stained glass windows is broken during a storm (not The Great Storm, mind you), which sends the Reverend on a fund-raising mission among the well to do, especially David's friends.
Geraldine clashes with David in the Dibley district councilor elections over the issue of local bus service, and finds herself an opposing candidate.
A funeral for a pet bird inspires Geraldine to hold a special church service for all the animals of the village, despite opposition from David.
In this episode, Geraldine learns about the Dibley Easter Bunny from Alice, but doesn't believe it's real...
Geraldine reluctantly agrees to four different sets of Christmas dinner; one with David and Hugo, one with Frank and Jim, one with Alice and one with Owen. She soon lives to regret it..
Geraldine is determined to get Alice and Hugo together, and succeeds beyond her wildest dreams.
""Radio Dibley"" goes live for one week, with Geraldine doing a ""Brain of Dibley"" competition and Owen commenting on horse gelding. Alice tries to impress her future father-in-law.
Geraldine becomes a celebrity after appearing on ""Pause for Thought."" The villagers prepare for ""Dibley Gala.""
Geraldine and the village all prepare for the wedding of Hugo and Alice, which brings a revelation from Alice and a visit from David's brother.
The vicar desperately tries to spend an evening alone with Simon. Alice returns from her honeymoon and may be pregnant.
Dibley prepares for the annual nativity play.
It's Spring and it's almost time for Hugo and Alice's baby's Christening. David Horton decides to get a different bishop to do the Christening as Geraldine will be one of the godparents. After a shocking turn of events, he finds himself in love with Geraldine and proposes to her! Will she go through with the wedding or not?
The water board offer to solve Dibley's drought by relocating the town.
While Geraldine is celebrating her 10th year in Dibley she is accused of being Gay as Alice spreads gossip when she found Rachel Hunter dressing in the Vicars house and Geraldine letting out certain 'hints'
When it's Geraldines 40th birthday she doesn’t want anyone to make fuss but they instead decide to cheer her up they send her to a dating agency, but when she sees all the council have decided to go as well, she gets nowhere. Meanwhile it's the 20th anniversary of Band Aid, and the vicar wants to do something special, but finds out that no one cares. So at the end she showed them all a video from the poverty website, which then makes them all care.
It's time to celebrate when the vicar learns that she has done her 100th wedding, but not for the vicar. Meanwhile the community gets angry when Londoner's are moving into their village, which causes the vicar to complain to one of them but instead she falls in love with one of them. After Alice reads 'The Da Vinci Code' she becomes convinced she is related to God and when the vicar hires a young nude model for the villagers to paint they unfortunately get no painting done. Meanwhile as the vicar woo's her new fella she finds he has girlfriend, fortunately after a bit of spying she finds it his sister and at the end she finally gets engaged
Geraldine marries Harry with the village in tow as wedding planners. Owen tries one last time, to get the Vicar to be with him and fails. As the villagers take their individual jobs for the wedding, Alice becomes the stylist for the wedding. The theme of the wedding is the surprisingly non-traditional, "Doctor Who". As the Vicar steps out of the church, a married woman, she sets off, and we see clips from past episodes. After the end credits, Harry intervenes with Geraldine's joke and Alice finally gets it and finds it alot funnier then anyone could expect.
