The Fantastic Four succeed, with difficulty, is besting Tyros the Terrible in combat. Once this has been accomplished, the five are transported back to Galactus, who transforms Tyros into Terrax the Tamer, a herald with power over the Earth itself. After personally humbling Terrax, Galactus is sure of his new herald's loyalty. The six then rush to Earth to face off against the Sphinx.
