From her earliest years Mary MacKillop had learnt from her grandparents and parents that 'God will take care of us all'. This deep trust in God's loving care became foundational to her spirituality. Out of this trust Mary sought always to do God¿s will, which was for her 'a dear book which I am never tired of reading, which always has some new charm for me'. Mary MacKillop's spirituality, which found expression in her heroic devotedness to her 'good God' and to the needy, is the subject of this book.
