Exploration of the psycho-spiritual system of Aboriginal culture reflected in the Alcheringa or Dreamtime, which refers to the time of the spirit ancestors who, on their epic journeys, created the features of the land. It is the author's belief that the Dreamtime is of central significance to all Australians and their experience of the sacred. The author is an Augustinian priest who spent many years studying Aboriginal culture.
