New Avengers, Vol. 1

In the Savage Land battle, Spider-Man is thrown into the jungle, where he encounters individuals claiming to be Ka-Zar, Shanna, and the other natives of the Savage Land. Ka-Zar tells Spider-Man a story about finding the S.H.I.E.L.D. vibranium mines revealed in the first story arc of "New Avengers." Ka-Zar and Shanna discovered that those agents were really Skrulls, and have been organizing a resistance in the Savage Land ever since. Spider-Man is about to pursue the matter further, to ensure they are who they say they are, when they are interrupted by an attack from the Captain America that was aboard the Skrull vessel.
