Overal ter wereld vergapen volle tribunes zich aan watershows met orkas: schijnbaar zonder moeite doen de begeleiders de kolossale zwart-witte walvissen gracieus door de lucht vliegen. Maar de orka blijft een gevaarlijk roofdier: in Sea World beet de orka Tilikum maar liefst drie begeleiders dood. In de vrije natuur zijn orkas niet agressief noch gevaarlijk voor de mens, wat bezielde dit gedomesticeerde exemplaar dan?
