The epistle to the Hebrews, as Dr. Ironside describes it, is a type of Pilgrim's Progress from the cross to the coming glory. ...the book of Hebrews is a practical guidebook for Christians who have left the "Egypt" of this world and are journeying to "the rest that remains to the people of God." The book of Titus is a call to practical godliness. Chapter 1 tells of the importance of godliness in the church; chapter 2, godliness in the home and 3 godliness in the world.
