Grandfather's Gold Watch

Plot

When twelve-year-old Peter Nels Jorgensen leaves Denmark for America, he takes with him two gifts from his grandfather: his mine and a handsome gold timepiece. Peter treasures Grandfather's gold watch, and it accompanies him on his adventures as he and his family cross the ocean to America and then cross the plains to settle in Utah. As young Peter grows into a man, he learns the value of Grandfather's questions: "What have you done with your name? What have you done with your time?"
