The 300 Spartans

The story dates back to 480 B.C. and is about the Battle of Thermopylae. The battle is fought between the ferocious Spartan King Leonidas (Richard Eagon) and the Persian king Xerxes (David Farrar). During the battle, a situation comes where King Leonidas has to face the mighty Persian army of innumerable soldiers with the help of a tiny Spartan army of 300 soldiers who are otherwise supposed to guard the fort. In such a do-or-die situation, how the Spartan Leonidas victoriously lead his 300 Spartans against the mammoth Persian army makes the rest of the story.
