After being orphaned when their parents die in a car accident Rashad (Tip Harris) and his younger brother Ant (Evan Ross) start working as janitors after school. Every week Rashad goes to the local roller skating rink where he meets up with his friends. Roller skating is Rashad’s passion and is looking forward to the upcoming skating competition. Meanwhile, younger brother Ant gets mixed up with a local drug dealer Marcus (Big Boi) and starts running errands for him. Rashad has always put his brother first since the death of their parents and is dismayed to discover Ant’s new occupation. As the skating competition draws closer, Rashad is distracted by his siblings’ behaviour putting his chances of winning in jeopardy.
