Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) a homeless black kid who is the product of a broken home is taken in by a wealthy white family called the Touhys. The family helps Oher fulfill his promise while learning some interesting things about themselves. The young man is in an unfamiliar environment and has to overcome many challenges. He plays football and is coached and helped by his adopted family and works his way to become an All-American football player who seems to be headed for bigger and better things as a possible pro prospect. Will Michael succeed in his quest?
