Block Party

In 2004, Dave Chappelle (Dave Chappelle) who is famously known as a crowd pleaser hosted his very own free block party where everyone is invited. He then travels to his homeland in Ohio to pass out several special invitations to his people to attend the party. The much anticipated event is held at the neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. During the event, several well-known alternative hip hop as well as soul musical artists such as Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Mos Def, Kanye West, Jill Scott, John Legend and many others are invited to perform at his once in a life time event. At the same time, Chappelle himself performed comedy monologues as well as sketches in between the exclusive and unforgettable performances performed by the artists themselves at this historical event.
