Breaking is a movie which basically re-tells West Side Story which itself is based on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The movie set in Los Angeles in a multi-racial hip hop club named Radiotron which is based out of Macarthur Park in Los Angeles. The movie sees young Kelly (Lucinda Dickey) who stars as a struggling jazz dancer. She then meets two break dancers Turbo (Michael Chambers) and Ozone (Adolfo Quinones) who agree to help her. Getting over hatred from some of the other dancers who disapprove of Kelly’s unique hybrid style dance, she soon becomes a bug hit on the streets of Los Angeles.
