Brown Sugar

“Brown Sugar” is a romantic comedy that centers on the romance between Andre Romulus Ellis (Taye Diggs) his friends call him ‘Dre’ and Sidney (Sanaa Lathan) who have known each other since childhood. Dre is an Executive for a hip-hop label company and Sidney is a magazine editor. Both of their lives don’t offer much time for a dating life. Once separated by life their paths again but this time Dre is about to marry Reese (Nicole Ari Parker) and Sidney claims she has no interest in Dre what so ever. Now the two have to deal with other’s hidden unspoken feelings while handling the curves thrown at them in their perspective jobs.
