Heartbreak Ridge

Sgt. Thomas "Gunny" Highway (Clint Eastwood) is coming up to that time that all Marines dislike. Mandatory Retirement from the US Marines. He manages to convince people that he would like to return to his old unit, but along the way manages to get robbed of his ticket and is left stranded in the middle of nowhere. When he eventually gets to the base there is even more bad news as a graduate from the national HQ in Maryland who has no combat experience has arrived and sees Sgt. Highway as the old way of doing the Marine's job whilst he is the new way. The unit is eventually brought under the old way of doing things, but will it be enough to ensure a successful operation during the invasion of Grenada?
