Irish Jam

When an Irish village becomes desperate to save their pub from the greedy landowner who runs the rest of the town, they decide to stage a poetry contest. Jimmy 'The Jam' McDevitt (Eddie Griffin) wins the contest by plagiarizing a rap song, and does so in the hopes of escaping his troubles with paying his bills and escaping his ex-fiance 'Psycho' (Mo'nique). Jimmy moves to Ireland to take over the ownership of the pub and quickly becomes involved with the locals in their attempts to maintain their town, including Maureen (Anna Friel), a local beauty who begins to fall for Jimmy.
