Lake Placid

Welcome to Lake Placid and the Croc Olympics. When a man is chewed by something in a peaceful Maine lake, Sheriff Keough (Brendan Gleeson) calls in local Game Warden Jack Wells (Bill Pullman) and New York paleontologist Kelly Scott (Bridget Fonda). Upon further investigation, the critter in question turns out to be a giant crocodile. This attracts attention of Croc Expert Hector Cyr (Oliver Platt). The simplest solution is to find the croc and then kill it. But Cyr wants to capture it live and study it. After a few more men become lunch while trying to bait the Big Guy, Cyr is out-voted and the decision to kill it is reached. Of course, when dealing with Giant Crocs, things don't always go as planned.
