Eddie Izzard: Circle

Eddie Izzard is an English comedian. This stand-up comedy show was filmed in the Town Hall of New York City in 2000. Although there is no specific plot or theme to stand-up comedy, a large proportion of time is spent discussing various periods in history and the differences of numerous religions around the world. Topics discussed in this section include the Pope, Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, Dark Ages, Renaissance, Roman Empire and Jesus. Interspersed throughout the show are jokes and quips about a wide range of things such as the IRA, Guns, NRA and many other subjects. The most memorable sketch of the show is the Star Wars "Death Star Canteen", where Darth Vader is forced to queue for food.
