Irreverent, occasional cross-dressing stand-up comedian seemingly goes straight so-to-speak; Eddie Izzard (Eddie Izzard) actually performs his routine on stage, dressed mostly in a disheveled tuxedo, rather than stripped naked. Combining the best moments from several shows from December, 2009, in London, the comedian tackles creationism and evolution in one handy rumination. Acting out animals in charade, long extinct, as part of the development of Earth, he becomes a walking and talking version of the Wikipedia that he also satirizes. His monologue, taking off from the old Readers Digest series, tackles scatology from the viewpoint of a bodily appendix, not the bookish kind, giving new perspectives on uselessness in the universe.
