"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" continues the story of slacker heroes Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), who made their first appearance in "Clerks". When the buddies discover a comic book (Bluntman and Chronic) based on them is being made into a movie without them, they decide to travel to Los Angeles to wreck the production. The movie follows the two as they make their way from New Jersey to L. A., meeting adventure the whole way. They meet an unusual nun (Carrie Fisher), a sexually ambiguous hitchhiker (George Carlin), and have a run in with a gang of hot lesbian jewel theives. They run afoul of a wildlife marshall (Will Ferrell) when they liberate a research monkey, and Jay falls in love with one of the jewel theives, newest recruit Justice (Shannon Elizabeth). The threads all come together when the guys finally reach Hollywood to give the filmmakers a piece of their minds.
