Plot

On Qom, a lost Earth colony has regressed and split into two warring states - Delysia with its merchants, and Jela, full of Spartan warriors.
The Ged, an advanced alien race baffled by human violence, have built a walled city in the wilderness, promising riches to any human brave enough to live there for one year. Once inside, they are also taught science and technology, and by watching them the Ged hope to discover how humans think.
Bur they don't anticipate the people who will enter the city and unite against the Ged themselves....
