Copiously illustrated gardening memoir. Recounts how the owners found, bought and restored a Georgian house and garden in Northern Tasmania. Describes the construction of a lake, design of beds and courtyards, and choice of flowers and roses. Includes map of garden, list of roses, and index. Irvine was born in Queensland, enjoyed a career of teaching before retiring to devote time to her passion for roses and gardening. Previous titles 'Garden of a Thousand Roses' and 'A Hillside of Roses'. Griffiths has a degree in photography and has worked with leading garden designers on the books 'The Defined Garden' and 'The Boxed Garden'.
