B. Winspear (2002)
an anthology of personal experience
Collection of wartime stories about Tasmanian RAAF soldiers. Recounts such experiences as a Tasmanian airman surviving 45 days in a leaking open boat escaping from Java to Western Australia, and of several Tasmanians enduring 'death marches' in appalling conditions in Europe. Includes photos and maps and over 100 short biographies. Foreword by Peter Scully, former airman and State President of the RAAF Association. Winspear was a Wireless Air Gunner in the RAAF and his story is included.
