Autobiography of Australian cricketer Ian Healy. Briefly recounts his childhood growing up in country Queensland, but concentrates on his cricketing career. Recalls the great Ashes tours and discusses his Australian teammates and most notable opponents. Reveals his views on the bookie scandals and explains the true stories behind his sacking as Australian vice-captain, his omission form the Australian one-day side, and his retirement from the game in late 1999. Foreword by Ian McDonald, Australian team manager, 1986-1998. Introduction by Geoff Armstrong, who worked with the author on the development of this book.
