"The Tamar estuary provides the community with social, environmental, cultural and economic benefits. It supports recreation, sport, industry, transport and urban needs. Pressures on the estuary increase as more people take up residence along its banks and as industrial demands change in the broader catchment area. This book is designed to raise awareness about one of the positives of the estuary - the diversity and beauty of the animals living in it. A combination of photography, esturine science and biology highlight a side of the Tamar that the majority of people never get to see. ...
