Eric Rohmer's final film in the "Comedies and Proverbs" series is a romantic tale of relationship musical chairs that occurs between a group of friends. Blanche (Emmanuelle Chaulet) finds herself falling for her friend Lea's (Sophie Renoir) boyfriend, even though she has set her sights on Alexandre. Lea tries to help Blanche land Alexandre, and in the process, finds herself attracted to him. This light-hearted story is a witty look at the changing nature of the human heart.
