Zatôichi

"Zatôichi" is the tale of a 19th Century blind nomad named Zatôichi (Takeshi Kitano). He makes his living as a humble gambler and part-time masseur. Behind it all though, he is a master swordsman gifted with lightning reflexes and breathtaking precession due to his lack of slight. While traveling, Zatôichi finds himself embroiled in a web of intrigue when he confronts a ruthless gang leader named Ginzo (Ittoku Kishibe). Ginzo with his trusted bodyguard the ronin, Hattori (Tadanobu Asano) spread fear and tyranny across the land. Now Zatôichi and his companions he makes along the way on his journeys must stop the evil tyrant.
