Year One

Year one is the story of Zed (Jack Black) and Oh (Michael Cera), a hunter and a gatherer who don’t quite fit in with their tribe. When Zed decides to eat the Forbidden Fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, the two are expelled for fear of bringing bad luck. Faced with the world at large for the first time, they encounter a host of early biblical tails in the making, such as Cain (David Cross) attempting to slay his brother Abel (Paul Rudd) and Abraham (Hank Azaria) on the verge of sacrificing his only son Isaac (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). Pair find themselves in the city of Sodom, where they have a chance to save their tribe and win over the gatherers of their dreams.
