The Wizard Of Gore

“The Wizard of Gore” tells the story of Montag the Magnificent (Crispin Glover) a stage magician who performs dangerous tricks in underground venues. Montag specializes in taking nubile volunteers from the crowd, stripping them and apparently killing them in horrific ways before revealing them to be ok. Suspicions rise, however, when each volunteer is found dead the morning after the show, killed in the exact way Montag had demonstrated the night before. Edmund Bigelow (Kip Pardue) is an underground investigative journalist who becomes fascinated by the mysterious Montag. Assisted by his girlfriend, Maggie (Bijou Phillips), Bigelow must solve the mystery of the slayings, and at the same time clear his own name – and save his own neck!
