Anything involving meta-humans comes under their jurisdiction, including a youngster in Ohio who has starting throwing fire. Chase is immediately sent to Ohio, along with the head of field personnel Sandy Barrett, to find the person who has started burning things. They find him and convince him to volunteer for training to control his powers, but things don't always go the way they want.
